“Finally, a Proven, Safe, Fun
and Exciting Way for You to
Lose Weight, Get in Shape, & Look Great in Just 28 Days without Diets, Doctors, or Drugs…Guaranteed!”
…and if we can’t help you get tight, toned, and tough we’ll pay you for the extra poundage! If you think I’m kidding, then make sure you read every word of this letter. But if you believe me, and you’re serious about changing your life, just click the button below to get started:
Dear Busy Body Friend,
Let’s get real for a moment! If you’re reading this, more than likely you’re
overweight or out of shape and you don’t feel like you have the time, money, or the motivation to do anything about it. But at the same time, you know if you keep doing what you’re doing, you’re going to keep getting what you got…
a body that’s getting bigger instead of better.
Now before you get angry and find a few choice words for me, I want you to know
I love you and I’m on YOUR side. We all need a good friend to tell us when our hair looks horrible, when we have on entirely too much make up, or when our pants are unzipped, or they’re not really considered a friend, are they?
Who am I?
My name is
Tonya Ransom, CI-CPT, and I’m the creator and founder of B.U.S.Y. Body Fitness, LLC - a health and wellness company created specifically to produce
guaranteed fitness results for people just like you – who are too busy, tired, and frustrated to get fit.
I say I’m on YOUR side because
I’ve been exactly where you are, and I understand. In addition to being a certified fitness trainer, I’m a single Mom (of a 6-year old daughter), a full-time law enforcement officer working the midnight shift, and I run a successful catering business. Whew! Oh, I also forgot to mention,
I’m 5 foot 1, and I used to be 68 pounds overweight! I jokingly tell people I was five feet tall and five feet wide.
In addition to struggling with my weight,
I’ve also had to overcome abuse, addiction, and depression, and now I educate, empower, and equip others to do the same. So when I say I’m on YOUR side, believe me baby, I mean it. I believe all of my personal struggles have given me the strength to do what I do today, and
I want to help you overcome your personal challenges as well. Or at least I’m definitely qualified to help.

I was the Queen of Excuses
When it came to my weight problems, I used every excuse in the book. You wouldn’t believe some of the things I told myself to justify my weight problems and unhealthy lifestyle, like…
“I don’t have enough time to exercise; I’m just too busy.”
“It’s going to take too long for me to see results.”
“I’m just too out of shape to get in shape.”
“I can’t afford to eat healthy; I’m on a budget.”
“I don’t have enough time to shop and cook healthy.”
“I can’t eat healthy, because my family won’t support me anyway.”
“It’s hard to be motivated to exercise when you have a work schedule like mine.”
“My weight isn’t that bad; maybe I was just meant to be heavy.”
“I’m going to be in pain after I work out.”
“Why try losing weight if I’m only going to gain it back.”
“I might injure myself if I start exercising.”
“People are going to laugh at me when they see me working out.”
“Getting in shape is too expensive, and I just can’t afford it.”
Yes, I’m a little embarrassed now by the excuses I used, but if you’re anything like me, you probably used one or two of them yourself.
They say that
when it comes to success, no excuse is acceptable. But when it comes to failure, any excuse will do. So I knew I needed to do something about my weight, but what? I knew I needed to change my lifestyle, but how? Although I was unsure, I believed that if I started with changing my “mind” and the way I thought about my life, then my “body” would have to follow, right?
I lost 68-lbs the Wrong Way!
People who knew me when I was overweight are amazed when they see me now, because all they see is a 5’-1” woman who’s 68-lbs lighter than she was 10 years ago. However,
I learned (6) valuable lessons after losing more than half my body weight:
Lesson #1: You need a plan to succeed.
If you don’t have a plan to succeed, then you’re actually planning to fail. It took me four years to lose 68-lbs. I know it’s better than not losing the weight at all, but it cost me a lot of money, wasted energy, lost time, and potentially endangering my body because I didn’t know what the heck I was doing.
Knowing what I know now, not only could I have lost that same weight within a year, following the right plan, I would’ve been even healthier, with more energy, and a lot more money in my pocket and more space in my garage.
Lesson #2: You need to be internally driven to lose weight, not just externally.
The only reason I started exercising was because it was degree requirement in college when I was a freshman. And the only reason I continued exercising after college was because I needed to earn a promotion in rank (in the Army). My point being,
external motivation is good, but internal motivation is 10 times better.
I started exercising initially because “
I had to,” but it wasn’t until
“I wanted to” that I started seeing dramatic results – not only in my body, but in my mind and soul as well. My fitness program is designed to give you the “want to,” not just the “have to.” Believe me,
it’s not that difficult, and I’m here to help you.
Lesson #3: The scale doesn’t determine your level of fitness.
This lesson was huge for me, and it’s shaped the way I educate, train, and support my clients today.
I learned that thin doesn’t necessarily mean you’re fit, and fit doesn’t necessarily mean you’re thin. Each person is different. Although I had been exercising consistently, and was in the best shape of my life, when I joined the military, they told me I still didn’t meet the height/weight requirement. Can you believe that? I had succeeded in losing weight, but the military still made me feel like a failure. It was very discouraging.
The military made their determination based on what I weighed on the scale instead of the body fat caliber which measured body fat percentage.
Your percentage of body fat and heart rate are more accurate ways to measure overall health than a fluctuating number on a mechanical scale. Don’t ever be fooled thinking you have to look like a fitness model in order to get healthy, be fit, and feel successful. Pictures on magazine covers are not real, and those kind of physiques are not realistic for most people.
Lesson #4: Don’t listen to everybody (even if they ARE fit).
I know this sounds strange, but listen closely.
You have to trust somebody, but you can’t trust everybody. When I started exercising, I thought the best person to seek advice from and imitate was someone who was already fit. And that’s okay if you’re built exactly like them, shaped like them, the same age, the same gender, with the same medical history.
I learned that people who really know fitness, know that you must take into account each individual’s needs to determine what will work best for them (and what won’t). That’s the problem with most personal trainers; they don’t personalize the training. They give you advice based on what worked for them, instead of helping you come up with a plan that works best for you. So I learned you can’t listen to everybody.
Lesson #5: You can’t do it alone.
Regardless of the situation you’re in (concerning your weight) and how you got in it, it’s probably safe to say you didn’t get there by yourself. Contrary to what most people think,
weight problems aren’t created in isolation; our family, friends, and co-workers ALL contribute to our success or failure. Yes, you must take personal responsibility for your health, but success won’t ever be achieved alone. God made us relational beings for a reason – because
we need each other.
I learned during my weight-loss journey that I could’ve been much more effective if I had someone coaching me, motivating me, holding me accountable, and supporting me in achieving my fitness goals. I quickly learned that you can’t be too proud to ask for help or receive it.
Lesson #6: Fitness is a life-long commitment.
This is the truth you probably don’t want to hear. And if you’d like someone to lie to you and make empty promises, then you’re in the wrong place. When I tell you fitness is a life-long commitment, I’m saying
you can’t just get fit and quit.
No, I’m not saying you have to exercise with me and follow my program for the rest of your life, but
you will have to exercise for the rest of your life. In fact, if I do my job correctly, you won’t really need my program beyond three months! Unless you’re trying to go to an entirely new fitness level.
Let’s face it,
your body didn’t get in the shape it’s in overnight, so you’re not going to get it in the shape you want by tomorrow. But once you do get your body in shape, you’ll have to work to maintain it. No, it won’t be as difficult as losing the weight, but you can’t afford to go back to doing what you used to do if you expect different results. I think someone once called that “insanity.”
I’ve dedicated my life to getting fit and staying fit, and I’ve committed myself to showing you, and others like you, exactly how to do the same – strategically, realistically, and sensibly. And if you’re ready, you can get started today…
FINALLY, a Realistic Way to Lose Weight, Look Great, and Stay in Shape… without Diets, Doctors, or Drugs!

Introducing…
The B.U.S.Y. Boot Camp™
“Better Understanding a Stronger You!”
As I said earlier, one of the most important lessons I learned after losing 68 pounds was
YOU NEED TO HAVE A PLAN!
Well, the great news is that you don’t need to spend countless hours doing research; years in fitness certification classes; months of frustration finding out what exercises and routines work best (and which ones are worthless); and weeks watching your weight fluctuate like a yo-yo because you were eating the wrong food and following the wrong advice - because
I’ve done all the work and made all the mistakes for you.
The B.U.S.Y. Body Camp™ is a 4-week group fitness program designed specifically for the busy person on-the-go who’s looking for guaranteed fitness results without the B.S.!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™ is the only way to help you achieve your fitness goals; but
I guarantee you it’s the best, most inspiring, most realistic, most supportive, and most fun way you’ll ever find to get into shape. And that’s not just my opinion…
“B.U.S.Y. Boot Camp is the best workout I've ever had! Not only was it a physical challenge, but it challenged me mentally. I pushed through the pain and kept moving. When I tell you this experience is LIFE-CHANGING, I mean it. I've been waiting on a program like this for a long time; I just didn't think I’d ever find one. It's a blessing to be a part of something so wonderful and be able to share my experience with others just like me. When you have made up your mind that you really want to change your life, B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp is IT people, this is it!”
-- Quiana Archibald |
B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™ is Different!
Boot camps, although misunderstood (more on that in a moment), are not new. They’ve been around for years. You can go to almost any mid-size to large city in the U.S. and find a boot camp to join. And most will gladly accept your money…but also waste your time.
But quite frankly, there are
three major things that make B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™ different and head and shoulders above the rest:
1.) Most boot camps pride themselves on routine, but B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™ prides itself on “relationship.”
Let’s face it, if you’ve ever been in a relationship, there’s nothing more frustrating than when it becomes routine, boring, and predictable. Variety is the spice of life, and if you want a relationship to really sizzle, you have to add variety and make it unpredictable.
Unfortunately, most boot camps follow cookie cutter routines they (or someone else) created years ago. And it’s true, some of those routines are even quite effective.
But who said workouts had to be boring to be effective?
At BBBC, we treat workouts like a passionate relationship – we grab your attention and then we literally work our butts off to keep it.
Our workouts are spontaneous, unpredictable, fun, and even playful. In fact, the only thing predictable about our boot camps is the specific times we meet. Everything else, you just have to come and discover for yourself.
“I’ve been working out consistently for more than 24 years now. And nothing was as humbling and a shot to my ego than when this little, 5-1 dynamo (Tonya) had every muscle in my body burning and my tongue dragging on the ground. I laugh now every time I see muscular guys underestimate the intensity of the B.U.S.Y. Body program. Tonya’s boot camp is as intense as she is – and is always fun, fast-paced, motivating, and totally unpredictable.”
-- Joe Martin |
2.) Most boot camps say they offer personal training, but B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™ offers “personalized training.”
As I mentioned earlier, personal trainers like to teach you what worked best
for them. One, because it’s easier to do, and two, because most personal trainers are just plain lazy.
Real personalized training teaches you what works best for YOU. It takes time, commitment, and creativity. When you attend any boot camp, there will always be several members in your group. But an instructor who’s worth anything will know how to engage you and make you feel as if you’re the only one there. It’s not something you can teach or learn as a fitness trainer, it’s a choice. But you deserve personalized attention, and you shouldn’t settle for less.
At BBBC, personalized training and exceptional customer service are part of our relationship-building process, and it sets us miles apart from the competition.
“Tonya truly cares about each of us and our future success. It's so obvious. I watched her after an intense hour and a half, muddy boot camp help and show a random guy (who only watched us workout) how to do push ups properly - because that’s just who she is. I will put her up against any trainer in Chattanooga and beyond. You will not find another personal trainer with the heart, the passion, the mental/physical strength, and the encouragement of Tonya. I am so blessed to be a part of the B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp.
-- Felicion McMillan |
3.) Most boot camps focus on short-term gains, but B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™ focuses on long-term rewards and lifestyle change.
The problem with most boot camps and fitness programs is that they’re only focused on helping you “lose weight.” And that’s exactly why most people “find the weight” shortly after they’ve lost it. Any credible fitness program can boast about how much weight they’ve helped a person lose. But
a really successful fitness program will also boast about how people have changed their life, their habits, and their choices when it comes to their health.
It took me four years to lose 68-lbs, and most people would’ve considered me a success, but it wasn’t until I made a lifestyle change that I experienced true success.
BBBC is committed to helping you change ALL areas of your life, not just your weight, and that’s what sets us apart from other boot camps.
“B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp has been life changing! I have been working on quitting smoking completely for years, but because of the boot camp and the people I’ve surrounded myself with (and of course Tonya), I was able to stop (smoking) completely and not think twice, after 12 years! But it made sense, why work out 5-6 days a week, change my eating habits, just to turn around and have a smoke when it was all over? Thanks B.U.S.Y Bodies, it’s all because of you!”

The Truth about Gym Memberships
I know what you’re thinking; Tonya, I don’t need to join a boot camp, because I belong to (or I’m joining) a gym. Well, as a former personal trainer at one of the largest gyms in Chattanooga, allow me to share with you
what most gym owners/managers will never tell you about gym memberships. It’s like what Oprah once said, “You can’t do better if you don’t know better.” Well, after you read this, you’ll know better:
- Gyms are not the only (or best) way to get in shape, even though many people think so. In fact, those who think it’s the best or only way to get in shape only show you how little they know about fitness training.
- If you’re new to a gym or working out, you will need the assistance of a personal trainer to show you what to do. Unfortunately, most gyms only offer you one free personal training session before charging you for additional sessions (in addition to your gym membership).
- Most people lose money because there’s no sacrifice or commitment associated with the membership payment. Because money is automatically drafted from your bank account each month, it’s much easier to become passive and complacent. As the saying goes, “out of sight, out of mind.”
- It’s easy to become isolated, because there’s no one pushing you or monitoring your progress. And since you’re working out alone, it’s easier to cheat on your exercises and compromise proper form and technique, which prevents you from breaking through fitness plateaus.
- There’s no flexibility with gym memberships. They lock you into long-term contracts whether you continue to go or not, which will end up costing you a lot of money.
- There is no guarantee of results. Once you pay your gym membership, it’s gone, whether you’re satisfied or not.
- You get a false sense of security. Most people believe because of a gym’s flexible hours (i.e., open 24 hours a day), they’ll go consistently, and they’ll go often. But in reality, the flexibility in time means no commitment, empty promises, and lame excuses to get you out of working out (i.e., I’ll just go next week when I have more time).
- There’s no built-in accountability. The gym owner/manager doesn’t care if you show up or not – because you’ve already paid your money.
“The B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp showed me that whatever kind of work out I thought I was doing before at the gym was just a walk in the park. Tonya showed me I can push, push, push myself, and I can't be scared to do it or I will never achieve my fitness goals if I don't give 110%. Thank you to my ‘Busy Body Family’ for keeping me going every time I thought I couldn’t continue! Whenever I thought about stopping, all I heard was my boot camp family cheering me on, and that gave me the strength to keep going.”

8 Myths about Fitness Boot Camps
As successful as many boot camps
(a.k.a. group fitness programs) have proven to be over the years, there’s still a
small group of people who still don’t know much about them. In fact, the only thing they do know is what they’ve been told about them, and it hasn’t been positive.
Well, if you’re new to fitness boot camps, allow me to dispel
eight of the most common myths some people have about them:
Myth #1:
“They’re intimidating; the instructors will yell and scream at you and put you down and embarrass you.”
Fact:
The purpose of group fitness programs is to build you up, not tear you down. There’s no intimidation tactics, just the opposite; reputable boot camps are supportive, motivational, and encouraging. Trust me, you won’t need therapy and counseling afterwards.
Myth #2:
“There’s no weight equipment involved, so it can’t be effective.”
Fact:
True fitness isn’t just about how much you can lift, but rather about how long you can last.
You don’t need heavy weights to get in shape. People who enroll in boot camps are not trying to become muscle-bound body builders. But boot camps are perfect if you’re looking for an overall fitness program that will work your overall body, including your heart, and will give you flexibility, stamina/endurance, as well as strength.
Myth #3:
“Boot camps are only for fit people and die-hard athletes.”
Fact:
Boot Camps are for people of all ages, shapes and sizes, male or female, regardless of your fitness level - from the stay-at-home mom to the superstar athlete.
Myth #4:
“Boot camps are just too hard and I’m going to get hurt.”
Fact:
I’ll admit, your body will be a little sore in the beginning, but
you’re not going to get hurt if you follow the basic instructions of a qualified trainer. Think about how many times in the past you’ve gotten up and your back hurt or your knees were bothering you because you were carrying too much weight, had no flexibility, or you had weak ab muscles – and that was
without working out. In a boot camp, a little short-term pain brings long-term gain and will actually make you stronger and more confident.
Myth #5:
“There’s no flexibility with boot camps, because you’re locked into a set time every week.”
Fact:
This myth is actually
half true. A set time is actually an added benefit of a boot camp, because it forces you to commit without relying on empty promises. Once you pay, and you know there’s a set time, you’re more likely not to skip a session. However,
there IS flexibility (at least at BBBC), because we offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day options with a FREE bonus session on Saturdays.
Myth #6:
“I’m afraid to exercise around other people, because I won’t be able to do as well or keep up. I’ll get left behind or slow down the group and be embarrassed.”
Fact:
Boot camps succeed because group members encourage and support each other to achieve their fitness goals. It’s one of the biggest advantages of boot camps. Group fitness programs create an atmosphere that is totally unique and impossible to duplicate at gyms or in personal training sessions. I can’t repeat this enough, boot camps are usually supportive, motivating, and encouraging. At B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp™, our motto is “
NO ONE gets left behind.”
Myth #7:
“Boot camps are just too expensive.”
Fact:
Boot camps are actually much cheaper than hiring a personal trainer. In fact, compared to what many women spend ON their bodies (makeup, nails, hair, feet, clothes, etc.) and what a lot of men spend on doing TO their bodies (beer drinking, smoking, eating out, coffee/sodas, hobbies, etc.) boot camps are one of the least expensive ways to get and stay fit. And
if you compare the proven results from boot camps compared to gyms, the cost-benefit is overwhelmingly in the favor of group fitness programs.
Myth #8:
“Only drill sergeants run boot camps.”
Fact:
Boot camps are required by law to be run by certified personal trainers. It’s only called a “boot camp” because it involves a group of people, not a drill sergeant. The fact that I’m an actual police sergeant is totally coincidental and unintentional (but you have to admit, it’s kind of funny).

So How Much Will it Cost?
When it comes to your health and well-being, there’s NEVER really a cost, only an investment. A cost usually never brings a return, but a good investment always should. The B.U.S.Y. Body Boot Camp gives you three (3) ways to invest in your body, your health, and your life:
- Only
$247 for 5 days/per week – (if you’re totally committed to achieving the best results)
- Only
$147 for 3 days/per week – (if you’re somewhat committed to achieving better results)
- Only
$97 for 2 days/per week – (if you’re testing the waters to achieve good results)
And the
investment is even less when you decide to join with a friend/mate or group
(click here for rates and details).
When compared to the
cost of an unused gym membership that doesn’t guarantee you results, and the
cost of hiring a personal trainer (on average $50-$75 per hour for 28 days),
a boot camp is one of the best investments you can make in achieving your fitness goals.
And we guarantee the results.
Just ask yourself,
“How much is good health worth to you?” Is it worth at least $97 to $247? Now ask yourself,
“What will bad health cost you?” Do you think more than $97 to $247 over the course of a lifetime? We’re asking you to
invest less than $13 a day in a program that could literally (and figuratively) change and possibly save your life, and at the same time, transform your body.
Over the next 30, 60, or 90 days,
you WILL spend more than $250 on something, whether it be on foods you shouldn’t be eating, on beverages you shouldn’t be drinking, or on habits that probably shouldn’t be continued. For instance, even beyond food, drinks, and habits, I have two small dogs, and it costs me $120 ($60 each) to have them both groomed! And that’s before I’ve even considered the
cost of getting my hair, nails, and feet done!
The question isn't whether or not you can afford to attend the fitness boot camp, the real question is,
when will you decide to make an investment in something that will move you closer to your goals instead of pushing your goals further away ? The choice is yours.
